Brand Presence
Before exploring each metric, here’s a quick look at the key ones for AI visibility.
Share of Voice (SOV)
Share of voice shows how visible your brand is in AI generated answers compared to your competitors. It’s expressed as a percentage higher numbers meaning your brand is mentioned more often.
For example, if people ask AI about “best project management tools” and your brand appears in 60% of responses while competitors share the remaining 40%, your share of voice is 60%.
Visibility Score
Visibility Score shows how often your brand appears in AI-generated answers across relevant topics or queries. Higher visibility means more chances that potential customers encounter your brand in AI platforms.
For example, if AI answers about “best fitness apps” include your brand in 8 out of 10 responses, your AI Brand Visibility is 80%.

Visibility Score: Measures how often your brand appears in AI responses.
Share of Voice: Measures what portion of AI mentions your brand owns compared to competitors.
Sentiment Score
Sentiment score measures the overall feeling or tone of mentions about your brand in AI responses positive, neutral, or negative. It’s usually expressed on a scale, like -1 (very negative) to +1 (very positive). Sentiment score also tells us your Brand Trust Index (BTI)
For example, if most AI responses about your new product highlight benefits and praise it, your sentiment score might be +0.8. If responses focus on complaints, it could be -0.5.
